‘Your Cosplay Studio’ Launches Kickstarter Campaign
‘Your Cosplay Studio’ launched a Kickstarter campaign for garnering widespread support and financial backing in order to finance the production of multiple mobile photo booth studios.
Austin, Texas – ‘Your Cosplay Studio’, a new, innovative approach to preserving great moments from cosplayers conventions via a unique photo booth, this week launched a Kickstarter campaign for garnering widespread support and financial backing in order to finance the production of multiple mobile photo booth studios.
‘Your Cosplay Studio’ is designed to be a tool to allow any and all convention attending cosplayers to quickly and cost effectively get professional quality photos of their costumes in hand, as well as posted online with your consent. Cosplayers can get their photo taken even if they are not in costume and just want to remember the moment.
“When taking photos at a convention, normally you get a lot of distractions in your shot. People in the background, bad lighting, random booths, you get the idea. It's unfortunate to see a woman in a large Victorian dress or an elven couple taking a photo and you have My Little Pony (for example) in the background,” said Jasmine Sharpe, Creator of the Your Cosplay Studio concept. “With [Your Cosplay Studio], we can delete the distractions and put the spotlight on back you.”
The intent of the Kickstarter campaign is to cover the basic backdrops and backdrop holder kit, printer and printer accessories (ink, film, etc.) for the photos, and a lighting kit. Future plans include, acquiring themed backdrops in the realm of fantasy and Sci-Fi, as well as possible flooring and props! The more raised, the more awesome fun!
‘Backers’ who pledge support for the Kickstarter campaign will be eligible to receive ‘Rewards’ from the campaign owner. Rewards range from a 4x6 photo of any image for a pledge of $10 to four 4x6 and two 8x10 photos of any image for a pledge of $30 or more.
The Kickstarter campaign is officially open until August 26, 2016.
