Criminal Defense Attorney Joe Keegan Provides His Clients with a Unique Advantage in the Courtroom
Attorney Joe Keegan continues to use the training he has learned at the Boston Police Academy – to give his clients’ cases a unique edge over the prosecution.
A Boston-area defense attorney – Joe Keegan, Founder of Keegan Law – provides his clients with a unique advantage when defending their case in the court of law. Mr. Keegan, a former Boston police officer, uses the training he has learned from the Police Academy, along with his Juris Doctor law degree, to help his clients have an edge over the prosecution. Keegan Law, located in the heart of Boston, Massachusetts, specializes in representing criminal defense cases such as DUI, drug, and a range of felony charges.
“I received the same training as just about every other police officer in the Boston area in 1994, and I was an active police officer for over ten years. My diverse background allows me to provide my clients with an advantage that most other (prosecutor or defense) attorneys are capable of – the inside knowledge of how police officers are supposed to react to different situations,” said Mr. Keegan.
Joe Keegan served two years in the United States Army and six years in the Army Reserves. From 1999 to 2001 he served in the JAG Unit. After leaving active military duty, he earned his Bachelor’s degree from Curry College and later received his law degree from the New England School of Law. He has been active in the criminal justice system for over 20 years and is highly recognized for his many achievements. He is a member of the Norfolk County Bar Association, the Massachusetts Bar Association, and The Association of Trial Lawyers of America. He has earned several awards throughout his career, but he says “none are as satisfying as when a jury awards a ‘Not Guilty’ verdict to a client.”
